Another Twist on a Past Design! Lovebug

Just in time for Valentine's Day, I'm releasing the Lovebug Fairy Wings! This is one of those designs that has been floating around in the back of my mind for a long time now, and I've just now had the time to execute them! They are so cute and timely for Valentine's Day when created in pink, red and white, but they would be adorable at any time of the year in your choice of colors!

This particular pair of wings can currently be found for sale in both my Art Fire and Etsy shops.

Moogle Wings

Off and on, over the years, I've been asked to make Moogle wings by those who are interested in cosplay, etc. , and I've finally decided to add them to my regular offerings. These will be added to my website in the near future, but if you are interested in a pair before that happens, just contact me directly, and I'll be happy to accommodate you! The Moogle wings can be made in any color you desire: purple, red, etc.

Past Design Gets a New Look! Flowerbug

I've been in the process of creating new designs this past week (more on that later this week), and a new idea for a past design came to me! My Ladybug Fairy Wings have always been a hit for little girls, so I took that basic shape and gave it a super sweet design of daisies and wavy stripes!

The original prototype is in pink and green and can be purchased in either my Art Fire or Etsy shops. I will be making this design in other colors, and I'm always willing to discuss special requests! This design has not been added to my website as of yet, however, if you are interested just contact me , and I'll be happy to make a pair for that special little one in your life!

New Art Fire shop!

I've recently opened a new shop on Art Fire!

I know that some people prefer the shopping experience there as opposed to Etsy, so I'll basically be carrying the same items in both shops!

Both of these shops are the best place to find my "ready-made" fairy wings, and they are also where I try out new designs and post "one-offs" for sale!

Also, don't forget my website, On Gossamer Wings! All of my regular designs can be found here, and I'm always happy to customize colors to match your costume / event!

I had a wonderful opportunity to visit with a very dear friend of mine this weekend, and she pointed out that I have been woefully remiss in posting to my blog....and she's correct. I do apologize to all who are following my blog, and even though I don't usually make New Year's Resolutions, I will resolve to make a better effort to keep this blog up to date! So, with that having been said:

Let's get the year started off right! I took the last couple weeks off from creating special orders so I could concentrate on family events and also update my website! I've added 8 new design pages, embedded my new video and added a TON of new client photos! Please stop by and see all the new goodness!

3 Wishes Faery Fest

I recently had the pleasure of having my wings participate in a Faery Fashion Show at the 3 Wishes Faery Festival in Cornwall, UK. They were worn by Ben Gray (fabulous pink boy) and the beautiful artist, Linda Ravenscroft!

One such recent experience resulted in these photos. The ladies in these photos made their own costumes….I simply provided the wings.

Here I am making my first ever post to my blog, and what better way to start off than with information to benefit one of my favorite causes!

I've long been silent on my Etsy account. Hey, having a corporate job has a nasty way of eating into the creative / productive process. To remedy that situation, I created a new pair of wings in pink to help support one of my best friends, Andrea Dodds, as she participates in the Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
